Tested on a real rig
These entries were run on real gear, not just read from documentation. Each one lists the hardware, what we checked, and photos from the test. Results apply to that setup; test on your own rig before a show.
A small, no-dependency MCP server let Claude Desktop set colors on a real Chauvet RGBW par through an ENTTEC DMX USB Pro, with set_color, set_rgbw and blackout tools.
Tested 2026-10-19LightingOn a real X32, Claude Desktop read channel names, fader levels and all 16 mix buses through an x32-mcp-server over OSC, then renamed a channel and put it back. Every read matched the console.
Tested 2026-10-19AudioA local listener on the laptop fires light looks when an X32 scene loads, keyed on the name of channel 32, and a second mode makes the light follow music using the X32's meters. Neither needs Claude or the internet.
